BINUS University (BINUS) was founded in 1974 as a provider for vocational training focused on computer systems and informatics, and has grown to offer a full range of undergraduate and graduate programmes to more than 30,000 students across 11 campuses in Indonesia. BINUS has strengthened its emphasis on information technology (IT) as the central pillar of its well-earned reputation for excellence through the implementation of IT-based processes in course curricula and at every level of internal operations. BINUS cooperates with more than 200 higher education institutions in the United States of America, Australia, United Kingdom, Germany, France, South Korea, Japan, South Africa, China, amongst other countries.

In November 2021, BINUS and SUSS signed a Memorandum of Understanding for collaborations in the area of internship exchange, service-learning and community engagement, exchange visits in overseas experiential studies, and other joint initiatives.
